Dinner on Saturday at Mom & Dad's Mom's really cute bear cookies Keith causing trouble

We had a fun weekend! Friday night we were just home. Saturday after doing some errands we went up to Mom & Dad H's for the afternoon. Mom made a *great* dinner. Julie & I got some nice (early) birthday presents! During the afternoon we visited & I worked on the gingerbread house. Kira helped too but Brett was too distracted with other things to help out so it ended up being my project. It was fun though! I finished it up this morning so I'll add pictures. Saturday night we drove home down Hwy 26 to Watertown to pick up Damon's car. One of the "day care dads" changed the tires, etc for us so we had to pick it up. The roads were messy, lots of snow and slow going but we made it home OK. I don't really care to drive on two lane roads in that kind of weather especially!

Sunday dinner was ready when we got home from meeting - chicken casserole and squash. Damon did dishes and I actually took a nap! Damon got me a warming blanket for my birthday (it's tomorrow) and it really relaxes me! Normally I lay down wanting to nap and as soon as I doze off, I'm suddenly awake and can't sleep. I've been enjoying it! Then we went went to D & L's and we took the kids sledding at the school hill. We were out about an hour and had a great time. Brett did so well and loved every minute of it. Derek & Brett played so nice afterwards too. L made soup and salad supper for us. We had peppermint stick ice cream, cookies and fudge for dessert and then visited for a while.
