Yesterday 20 fertilized eggs arrived via UPS (none broken). The box says "These Really Are EGGS". The UPS guy thought it was funny.
Today is day 1 in the incubator. 20 more to go! Wish us luck!

Our Lady Bug Land, larvae & painted lady butterfly larvae arrived yesterday too. Amazing things are happening! I think I can claim to teaching patience this month as well as science!

how cool! we used to incubate eggs when i lived at home and we actually raised the chickens because we lived on a farmette. it was SO much fun but disappointing if some of the eggs didn't make it. my brothers were gross about it too.. you can imagine.
ReplyDeleteExciting! I can just imagine them watching for them every minute at first.
