From my SIL Shanda. She made with it with Brett's cooperation for my birthday present! (Yes, it's early.) I love the pictures! Cute idea.

Our Thanksgiving
We're still enjoying our weekend at Jon & Shanda's.

| Brett learned to play Scrabble. Yes, he played the word "enjoin" with Mom's help and wineverygame.com (we all used it & learned new words, plus the game went faster and we had a nice board full of words. |
Lots of reading & relaxing going on! Eating & shopping too!

It Looked Like Spilt Milk
To go with our farm theme, we read "It Looked LIke Spilt Milk" and made our own paintings to go along with the story. The kids really enjoyed it! I had never even read the book, so I finally ordered it. I didn't realize I bought a big book but that's OK! It's fun to have some big books too.
White paint with a little liquid dish soap & water looks like milk.

T Shirt Scarf
Last week I made this scarf in just a few minutes. It's super easy & inexpensive! I found the idea here on Kevinandamanda.com. Hers is considerably nicer than mine - I think two of the shirts I used were more gauzy and really stretched. The strips didn't roll up as nice & ended up more bulky, but I still like it. Here's the direct link to the scarf: http://www.kevinandamanda.com/whatsnew/?s=scarf&groovybtn1=Search

Brett's Baby Album {Part 1}
Since Saturday, when I started working on Brett's baby album, this is how far I've gotten. I have many more pages done for it but I've already posted them in the past. I'm thrilled to have this much done! This is only his first month though...it is heavy with his first pictures but I plan on moving right along in first year pics. In this book I would like to do a special page for each month & a collage page. I don't know how many pages that will be so we'll see! For those who are wondering, I use Storybook Creator from Creative Memories. This kit is Baby Love Boy from Sweet Shoppe. Some are pre-made pages and some I designed myself. I probably will add more journaling to some of these pages but didn't take the time yet. I love the free blueprint pages at Pixels2Pages!

Thankful Pages
We worked on these projects today using an *adorable* free printable activity sheet from Paper Glitter. I liked the idea of this for something different than the thankful feather turkey that we usually do. I didn't laminate these - my laminator broke & I think they're a little too wide for it anyway - but they could be covered with Contact Paper (didn't have any of that either), so they could be used for little place mats.
B is thankful for: my mom, sleeping with my animals, my toy, turkey.
C is thankful for: Being with my mom & dad, having a butterfly room and a nice house and that we are all safe inside at night. (Her mommy was so pleased!)
J is thankful for: mommy and daddy, Peyton, warm bed, pizza.
(He had some suggestions here! ☺ )
J is thankful for toys, my bed, watching TV, mommy & daddy, pizza and rainbows.
S is thankful for mommy and daddy and home.
