Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

A bubble refill station is just a genius idea.  I originally found it on Come Together Kids
In the past I’ve use a bubble machine a lot because it’s less messy and little ones tend to dump bubbles or stick the wand in their mouth. It also gets kids moving around to chase the bubbles.  I’ve gone through a lot of bubble machines and batteries though, and blowing bubbles are good for development.
Read about blowing bubbles and child development here.

I had to make a bubble label of course.

We also tried a bubble recipe. I never have messed with it much, just buy bubbles when we need them. It’s so easy though and it has to cost less.
This recipe is called “The World’s Best Bubbles”.  We think they work great too.
The World’s Best Bubbles
  • 1 1/2 quarts of water
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup liquid dish soap
Mix water and corn syrup until completely blended. Heat in microwave 3-4 minutes. Slowly stir in soap. Will last several weeks in an airtight container.
