Today I tried out a recipe for Homemade Hot Pockets from Our Best Bites on the day care kids. The dough is the same recipe as the Spinach-Chicken Stromboli. I filled ours with ham and cheese. After they came out of the oven, I brushed the tops with butter. They were a hit. The oldest one here today, said “let’s have a round of applause for this great lunch”! She likes everything I serve – of course I don’t serve yucky food! It was served with cooked carrots and applesauce. I really need to make out some menus so I’ll use this one.
* I made more than 8 otherwise they would be too big for my kids to eat. They can always have another.
