Snap Art & Smoosh Paintings {candy corn colors}

After seeing Teach Preschool’s post on snap painting, on the spur of the moment decided we would try it too. I took her advice & we did ours outside! Recently I bought these trays at Target & they worked great for this {and so many other things!} I just put the rubber bands around it and slipped the paper underneath.
We found it was necessary to slide the paper around on the tray so all the paint could come in contact with the rubber bands. After trying out the snap painting, we still had a lot of paint on the paper so we “smooshed” another paper over top and made prints. Both versions are appealing! We’ll have to try this method of painting again.
