Wordless Wednesday|Bunners & Runners

Update: The bunnies have been named "Thunder & Boomer". They look so much alike, sometimes it's hard to tell which one we've got. Boomer is a bit smaller, although both are about 1.5 lbs, and Thunder has more of a gray beard.

We celebrated by having dinner out on Sunday. Damon also bought some perennial plants for “his garden” that he’s been working on. The celebrating continues tonight because he won tickets to a Brewers baseball game from a local news station. The guys are going with some others and I get to stay home. Yay! Stacy

What are you doing Rabbit?

bunny

I just looked out the front door to see how my husband was doing on his project, and saw this rabbit RIGHT ON our front step chewing on our doormat. Apparently rabbits like to eat these cocoa coir mats but mine likely isn't all that safe of an option for him to eat since it's treated & printed, etc. What's the deal rabbit? All those garden plants aren't enough?? I think I've about seen it all now!Stacy

We were at my cousin’s wedding today at a park. The ceremony took place under this beautiful willow. What a perfect place for a wedding or a little boy to play!Brett treeBrett big treeStacy

Father’s Day Painted Cards & Tape Collage Bookmarks

Dad’s are hard right? I know I’m not the only one who struggles with trying to come up with something meaningful and desirable to give the Dads. I wanted to add something more than this, but I wasn’t coming up with anything more. The kids painted “DAD” cards with liquid watercolors. They were given a variety of colors & they all turned out great. Father's Day Cards Preschool

Our bookmarks are made using adding machine tape paper {although any paper can be used of course}. There’s a story about that – a friend who was visiting made her own projects using the roll of paper  & colored masking tape that’s out in our writing center & I loved the idea! To personalize them, I took pictures of each child with Instagram for the back. Originally I thought a strip of 3 or 4 pictures of each child would be fun but it’s hard enough to get one picture of each child! After gluing it all to cardstock I laminated them, punched a hole in the top & added ribbon.

Hope all the Dads have a great Father’s Day!Stacy
