I loved this idea I found on Pinterest and so did my kids. I appreciated this activity for it’s many qualities: simple, yet different, quiet AND non-messy, fine motor focused, simple sewing or weaving, resulting in colorful sculptures.
What more could you ask for?
This project was great for using some of the Fuzzy Sticks chenille pipe cleaners sent to us from Craftprojectideas.com. Fuzzy Sticks in many colors can be found at Walmart. Check them out on Facebook too.

ReplyDeleteHaven't done this lately. Maybe I'll pull that out as an extra in case T. gets through this work quickly. We recently did the wire basket ribbon weaving. He enjoyed that.
